Over the last week the Kyda skim crew has been hitting the beach hard trying to capture media and get the last of the summer vibes. Early in the week Lynch was in White Rock fooling around on some middle tides and giving locals free lessons. By the middle of the week Dane and Kyle were headed south to Balmer’s Beach trying to catch the last of the tide there. Although, Dane managed to kill a ghetto pop over it really wasn’t enough skim to get stoked, so they grabbed a rail and went over to the training facility (i.e. the backyard set up) and spent a few hours there filming. Yesterday morning Dylan, Tim, Dane and Lynch headed to Spanish for a session. The tide was low, it was warm and the skies were clear. The guys started the day by walking out to the water’s edge were Tim wowed onlookers by popping huge ollies off the incoming waves while Dane and Dylan killed some pure flatland. Soon the tide was roaring in and the guys retreated to the tidal pools were a group film session was had over a pylon. After about 40 mins the tide was at the guys heels and the weather went from blingin to grey but Lynch managed sneek in enough time to fool around on a tiny set up that gave lots of pop and dane on the last strip of sand showed some kids a variety of tricks over that same setup. Anyway, another great couple days at the beach; make sure to check out the photos from Lynch.
